Reporting to the Director of Logistics, we are looking for an experienced supply chain and logistics professional to lead our transportation team at our Oakville office/warehouse.

  • Responsible for developing our customs compliance procedures to align with best-in-class practices.
  • Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate with Director of Logistics to develop a logistics strategy to support customers and company objectives.
  • Ensure all paperwork and necessary custom clearance are in order for transit of materials globally.
  • Request quotes and negotiate rates for freight shipments for international and domestic air, ocean, and truck shipments (globally and for NA)
  • Process international and domestic documentation to meet import and export compliance standards.
  • First point of contact for freight issues with arranged shipments.
  • Interface with customs/trade agencies as needed to comply with regulations and / or audit requirements.
  • Use advanced analytics to analyze shipment activity data, and trends, present findings to aid continuous improvements and cost savings.
  • Maintain current and keeps up to date information on customs and tariff changes and developments.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and able to effectively manage a team.
  • Service oriented with internal and external customers.


Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business

A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role

  • An energetic, hands on, values passionate leader with a history of developing talent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
