About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, engaging individual with great communication skills who has strong technical abilities and a passion for teaching and developing people. The IT Capability Project Specialist is a strategic business partner for the IT management team, focused on learning and development that enhances the technical capability skills of our people. The role will act as a strategic consultant to the business and meet with a broad range of subject matter experts within the organization to identify opportunities and implement plans that meet the development needs for Coke Canada.

This is a 12 month contract for a maternity leave replacement

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Business Solutions, Technology Operations, Technology Innovation and Information Security teams and support change management and communications related hardware & software improvements.
  • Work with IT Management team on developing new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency and enhance workflow.
  • Support and provide feedback that supports Coke Canada’s user digital modern workplace.
  • Support the Capabilities team with the development and delivery of other special projects throughout the year
  • Support Onboarding from an IT perspective host onboarding virtual trainings, create tools that support our hourly employees in accessing our networks
  • Collaborate with the security team on driving a Cyber Safe Culture through continued awareness and development material
  • Develop a training plan and work with business SME in creating content that will address & enhance user experience
  • Technical skills development is essential in staying up to date and leveraging technology in 2022-23 launched Tech Bytes Learn Now and we need to drive awareness and continue to promote this new tool

Qualifications

  • Preferred Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Business
  • 3 – 5 Years’ experience and involvement in Technology or Learning & Development capacity
  • Ability to communicate with a strong technology acumen and grasp technical detail
  • Desire to continuously learn with a passion to lead and develop others
  • Excellent IT, communication, organizational and management skills
  • Experience with O365 suite of applications, Project Management, and strong presentation skills
  • Ability to take ownership of projects, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Eagerness to drive innovation and continuous improvement
  • Strong influencing skills including the ability to build credible and trusting relationships
  • Ability to work independently as well as a member of the team
  • Adaptability in an ever changing and fast paced environment
