Cdn. Power Pac is seeking to hire a highly motivated solar/electrical salesperson to join our growing team. With renewable energy on the rise in today’s market, there’s no better time than now to join the “pac” and help create a more sustainable future for Albertans. This position will work out of our office in Acheson, Alberta.

Responsibilities:

· Provide excellent customer service to develop new customer relationships as well as maintain current client relations

· Find new customers through multiple networking methods, generate and qualify leads via phone and email

· Schedule sales appointments and activities

· Must be organized and efficient with the ability to analyze our customers needs, seek resources, prepare quotes, present our products, and provide support even after the sale is made

· Meet with clients and office staff while being able to accurately educate to them solar grant and incentive programs available, Close sales by means of excellent customer service and salesmanship

· Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of new and existing customers

· Develop strategies for more effective sales closing, share with team

· Prioritize and/or escalate client questions and concerns to increase client satisfaction.

· Source and develop client referrals.

· Track personal appointments, status reports, and sales.

· Meet or exceed monthly sales goals

· Continuously improve through feedback

Qualifications:

· Previous sales experience in the electrical industry or similar, and a form of communications background is an asset

· Proven track record in the sales environment an asset

· Must be vey computer literate with ability to show competency with Office, One drive, Helioscope PV Software or equivalent

· Ability to convey knowledge of solar products, solutions, and PV System operability on numerous scales.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills with an in-depth knowledge of the solar industry

· Must confidently and effectively communicate with clients and colleagues

· Expert in time management skills with attention to detail and personal organization

· Self-motivated, willingness to always be learning and competitive

· Aptitude for negotiation and persuasion

· Highly motivated, determined, and target driven

· Ability to meet and exceed monthly sales quota

· Ability to create and deliver client presentations

· Familiarity with BRM and CRM best practices

· Bachelor’s degree preferred but may accept relevant experience

Schedule:

Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

Wage Rate:

Starting at $25/hour plus commission and bonus. Hourly rate to be determined based on overall skillset.
