We currently are looking for a software developer with an entrepreneurial mindset to join a team developing web applications for the renewable energy and commodities market. Our client provides quality Commodity Trading Risk Management (CTRM) services, and the team has over 50 years of combined experience developing, implementing and managing E/CTRM software.

Position:

• Software Developer

Responsibilities:

• NET full-stack software development including web application, Windows service, REST API, and front-end website development
• Participate in design and business modelling discussions
• Writing unit tests and managing a development pipeline
• Researching new technologies and determining use cases
• Ability to work remotely with a small team and set your own timelines and milestones to ensure you meet the objectives

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required
• 3+ years’ experience with .NET desktop application or web application development
• Proficiency with C#, .NET core, SQL Server
• Experience writing unit tests and creating a structured development approach
• Strong understanding of authentication/authorization models, architecture principles, software design
• Experience in AWS/Azure cloud development and cloud databases
• Web UI development experience in .NET using Blazor
• Proficiency with HTML and CSS
