Skilled Trades Laborer for a tank trailer repair shop

We are looking for a Skilled Laborer with various skills and a mechanical aptitude to join our team at CTM Cryogenics (Complete Truck Maintenance ltd). We’ve been in operation out of Markham, Ontario for 40 years servicing the Cryogenic and Compressed gases trailer industry. See what we do day to day by searching us on social media: CTM Cryogenics.

The skilled laborer would be tasked to various duties around the workplace including but not limited to; pipe fitting, valve replacements on tank trailers piping, assisting other team members, miscellaneous work on cryogenic tank trailers (specific tasks are based upon individuals’ particular skill sets).

The positions will be full-time and will receive very competitive wages and a benefits package. Wages to be discussed based off skill set and experience. Hours of operation are 6:00-2:30pm or 7:00-3:30pm Monday to Friday with optional Overtime available.

Ideal Qualities:

- Adaptable
- Detail oriented
- Technically experienced (i.e. general contractor, metal work, plumbing, electrical, mechanical)
- Personally driven
- Positive mindset and team oriented with a focus on crew morale
- Competent with a variety of equipment and tool types

Applicable background most fitting for the position:

-Pipe fitting is a big asset
- Trades background (adaptable)
- Tank or Trailer service and repairs

Deal breakers include having a poor attitude, inability to work in a team environment, and having minimal technical background or aptitude.

Required Skills:
·Basic math skills (addition & subtraction)
·Basic mechanical skills (can troubleshoot basic electrical/pneumatic systems)
·Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals is a plus
·Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

·Must be able to commute to work daily and be authorized to work in Ontario, Canada.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
