Essential Responsibilities

  • Support Program Manager(s) with regularly updated schedules and Integrated Program Plans
  • Interface with program cross functional team members to update schedules and plans to reflect current status
  • Provide regular tier 1, 2, and 3 schedule updates and schedule adherence metrics for use in regular reports, presentations and planning reviews. This includes but is not limited to determining the primary, secondary, and tertiary Critical Paths for any open schedules, providing explanations for any significant changes, and providing projections based off of real time data.
  • Interface with Program Finance to provide, consolidate and integrate manpower loading data into ETC tool for EAC analysis
  • Participate in Bids and Proposal Activities to prepare initial integrated program plans and schedules as well as Change of Scope Proposal for program re-baselining.
  • Facilitate schedule analysis and risk mitigation with program team members through weekly meetings, minimize adverse impacts and maximize opportunities to increase schedule certainty
  • Analyze and report on the impact to schedules associated with potential projects and execution scope changes
  • Collect schedule inputs from functional leads and provide summary reports to Program Manager(s).

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Engineering product development and management process experience and/or technical background is an asset.
  • University graduation in the technical/engineering field is desired with a minimum of 8 years of planning and scheduling experience. Additional course work or degree with Business Administration is a plus
  • Considerable knowledge and experience of planning, EVM and Scheduling methods and procedures

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively balance priorities
  • Ability to deal directly with internal and external customers
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools with emphasis on Word, Excel and MS Project is a must
  • Knowledge of schedule analysis techniques and ability to establish and interpret metrics
  • Knowledge of Earned value techniques, work breakdown structures, and integrated scheduling
  • Self-starter, sound reasoning ability and detail oriented
  • Strong teamwork in a diverse environment, problem-solving skills, good organization and communication skills
