Senior Product Manager

Reporting the Director of Product Management, our team is looking for a motivated Product Manager to drive our product video roadmap.

About the role-

Primarily focused on:

• Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.
  
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams.
• Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
• Analyze market data to assist in sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization.
• **Firstlight Media staff reports into offices in a hybrid capacity (i.e partially at home, and partially at the office based on role/team needs) leveraging safety protocols aligned with local public health guidelines as they relate to COVID-19.

About You:

• 8-10 years of progressive experience in a similar role.
• Senior level product management professional.
• Proven experience advising on technical knowledge and proficient in OTT video domain and technologies.
• Must have thorough understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and tools and must advocate for adherence to standards.
• Must have working knowledge of business practices in at least one specific business software domain.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter, ability to work with some ambiguity and comfort working cross functionally.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing time and resources based on business impact.
• High emotional intelligence and low ego.
• Quick learner and ability to understand technology opportunities and challenges at a business level.
• Experience interacting directly with customers and partners.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Demonstrated passion and talent for technology. Candidate must have the capability. to be conversant with Product and Technology leaders both internally and across our client base.
• Preferred Bachelor of Business/Information Systems/Engineering/Math/Science degree or equivalent experience.
• PMP certification desired.
