Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Be Limited To

 You will be a part of our Project Delivery Group - Electrical, where we ensure world-class project delivery through the skills of our people, methodologies, governance, and systems.
  • Prepare engineering work packages to ensure that project budgets and schedules are met
  • Define I&C project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and schedule
  • Develop I&C deliverables such as design requirements, P&IDS, PFDs, layout drawings/instrumentation drawings, datasheets, installation details, elementary/connection diagrams, prepare technical specifications for I&C systems and more
  • Willing to mentor junior and intermediate staff
  • Participate in HZOP, COMS and other safety related reviews as required
  • Interface with other engineering disciplines
  • Actively manage relationships with vendors
You Bring To The Role
  • B.Sc./B.Eng. in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering from an accredited university
  • Registration as a professional engineer in Ontario, or eligible to obtain.
  • Minimum 10 years of project experience specific to instrumentation and control
  • Valid Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) security clearance, or be able to obtain
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to function with minimal supervision
  • Sound understanding of engineering codes CSA N series, ISA and IEC
  • Experience with construction & commissioning
  • Experience with CANDU station configuration management systems such as:
  • Passport
  • Maximo
  • On line wiring
