About This Team

Our Brand Creative department is one of the largest in Vancouver—more than 70 strong, and made up of writers, designers, art directors, film makers, editors, photographers, and producers. It is a dynamic, fun, collaborative and fast-paced environment, with the different skill sets supporting and elevating each other as we create global and regional campaigns. a day in the life: what you’ll do
  • You concept 360 ideas that bring to life our brand, purpose, and products
  • You create powerful engagement with our guests through genuine insight
  • You work with designers, film makers, editors, and other writers to bring to life the idea, through words and pictures in many mediums
  • You educate, challenge, and inspire our guests, as well as make them smile
  • You create clear, concise copy for offline and online channels, including social and our stores
  • You clearly communicate creative concepts to different parts of the business ensuring the idea is understood and aligned across key partners
  • You love getting feedback on your work and are always looking for ways to elevate the projects you’re involved in
  • You edit and proof your written work, refining it to make it best-in-class
  • You keep on top of industry trends, sharing your knowledge and learnings with your peers

Qualifications
  • 8+ years experience as a copywriter, in an agency or in-house, inclusive of global brand experience
  • A folio of work demonstrating ideas and copy across various media, including digital
  • Captivating ideas and the ability to express them
  • Advanced knowledge of grammar and spelling
  • Experience managing multiple projects at any one time
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and an egoless nature
  • A desire to learn and excel
  • The ability to complete tasks independently and to help coach other team members
  • An interest in movement, growth, and connection—however those things look like for you
  • Experience in brand collaborations and brand events an asset
