Senior Business Analyst

Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Senior Business Analystwill work with internal business stakeholders to drive the implementation and adoption of enterprise level systems across the organization. The successful candidate will work with both the Executive team, and the leadership in each department to drive the achievement of technology related projects, and will act as the primary project manager for multiple simultaneous initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

• Act as the key liaison between the business and technical team
• Use data and building models to help support research and hypotheses
• Research and identify strategic opportunities to add value to the business through the technology portfolio and improved processes
• Convert ideas and hypothesis into concise business proposals to present to stakeholders
• Communicate and train end-users on technology and assist with technology adoption

• At least three (3) years of I.T. agile project management experience
• Experienced in gathering business requirements and translating to functional requirements
• Skilled at building business cases and providing recommendations, and creating reports and presentations
• Knowledgeable in use cases and wireframes to assist customers with identifying business requirements and scope
• Strong analytical skills (e.g. Excel, Power BI)
• Experienced with change management processes
• Experienced with issue tracking systems (e.g. JIRA)
• Experienced working in agile/scrum environment
• Excellent communication & documentation skills

• Minimum diploma, certificate or equivalent experience in related field

• MBA, Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Science, or equivalent is desirable

• Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) and/or ITIL Foundation would be an asset
