Senior Back-End Developer
Overview:
Streamline develops innovative solutions and management software for the transportation industry. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Arrow Transportation Services Inc.
Streamline is looking for a Senior Back-End Developer to join the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Senior Back-End Developer will provide technical and team leadership through coaching and mentorship.
  • As the Senior Back-End Developer, you may review of business requirement documents, determining design, and assigning development tasks to team members.
  • This role also requires the ability to communicate effectively with team members, non-technical audiences, and other stakeholders.

You Possess:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science
  • A minimum of 5 years of software development experience, primarily in an AWS environment
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Ability to explain the benefits, challenges, and use cases for server, container, and serverless based solutions
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent hands-on experience

Experience with:
  • AWS Lambda, API Gateway, AWS Fargate
  • PostgreSQL, including administration/security, troubleshooting, query analysis
  • js, React, Java, CSS, HTML
  • REST APIs, WebSocket
  • CloudFormation, CloudWatch, IAM, Route 53, VPC, EC2, S3, Kinesis, SNS, SQS, RDS, ECR, ECS, ElastiCache, Memcached, Redis
  • Experience putting together presentations and preparing technical documentation
  • Excellent verbal/written communication
  • Strong safety mindset
  • Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Quality oriented and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Responsible, accountable and dependable
