Job Summary

We are seeking a Histology Data Reviewer to join our team located in Laval, QC.

The following are responsibilities related to the Data Reviewer position:
  • Review data;
  • Ensure that all calculations related to studies have been verified;
  • Work closely with veterinarians and study directors on certain aspects of the studies;
  • Provide assistance and training in data collection and reporting at all times;
  • Contribute to standardization of procedures;
  • Answer QA report promptly and in a clear and concise manner;
  • Provide regular feedback on technician performance to their immediate supervisor, recognize and compensate good performance;
  • Ensure the work environment is safe;
  • Ensure study plans and amendments have been read and are understood by all technicians involved in the studies before the start of each study;
  • Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with (GLP), where applicable;
  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are available, understood and constantly applied;
  • Write and revise SOPs, when required;
  • Participate in method development;
  • Participate in new procedure implementation;
  • Perform technical work, when required;
  • Manage time effectively;
  • Remain informed on all legislation and developments related to job through self-education and external training;
  • Substitute and/or assist department colleagues;
  • Perform any other reasonable tasks that may be required.
Job Qualifications

The following are minimum qualification required for the Data reviewer position:
  • Collegial Diploma in animal health care or equivalent;
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a GLP environment;
  • Practical knowledge of animal health sciences;
  • Strong knowledge of related legislation, principles, practices and procedures;
  • Strong knowledge and application of GLP;
  • Bilingualism (French & English) is mandatory;
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Good knowledge of institutional procedures to ensure the animals well-being;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work under time constraint and adapt to change;
  • Flexibility to work on changing work schedules;
  • Ability to efficiently coordinate people, time and resources;
  • Demonstrated leadership ability;
  • Ability to work in a team environment;
  • Working knowledge of related computer applications.
