As we continue with our aggressive growth strategy, we are seeking a Sale Representative I in our Edmonton office.

Today we are looking to add a Sales Representative I, who would be responsible for building new business relationships as well as expanding business opportunities with our existing customer base. The selected professional will be an integral part of our business development and sales team who are creating Rotaflow’s future.

The focus of this role will include:
  • Responsible for identifying new leads, nurturing relationships, and bringing new potential customers into the top of our sales funnel.
  • Serves customers through a solution and service approach and meeting customer needs.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Focuses sales efforts by determining existing and potential volume of opportunities.
  • Assist the project management team with the quoting and presentation process.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace research on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and service techniques.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional networks.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive, with a passion for customer centricity, continuous learning, and curiosity.
  • Continuous growth learning mindset; proactively seeking coaching and guidance from both peers and managers.
  • Ability to develop, nurture, and maintain close working relationships with customers.
  • Sales professional with strong business acumen; exceptional communication, and active listening skills
  • Development and implementation of territory sales strategies to achieve sales forecast.
  • Prospecting, negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to present information in front of a large group with confidence.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with coworkers and clients.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms an asset.
Education & Experience:
  • Technical Diploma or a BA/BS University degree in one or more of the following areas: Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction, or related field with relevant experience.
  • Two to five years experience in B2B technical sales.
  • Experience in industrial sales.
  • Ability to complete cost benefit analyses and determining ROI.
  • Experience building and justify business cases.
  • Unusual level of drive, competitive spirit, and a track record of achievement.
