Job Description

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director, Regional Field Sales, the Sales Merchandiser in the respective location will provide support to the Sofina Sales Teams to develop and grow existing business and prospect new in store opportunities for the assigned customer base. They will also provide executional support to the Independent team with duties such as merchandising, display building and other Rate of Sale driving activities. The Sales Merchandiser will be working to promote Sofina’s established brands including Janes, Lavazza, Fletchers, Rio Mare, Lilydale and others.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage a weekly schedule to ensure full assigned territory coverage and support for Independent team and ensure objectives are efficiently achieved;
• Install point of sale material to support promotions or product launches, ensuring product and promotional materials are visible and accessible;
• Support the Regional Sales team to reach established sales targets by ensuring execution requirements negotiated by the Sales Representative or Key Account Teams are applied at store level;
• Establish business relationships with customers and regularly follow up to ensure on going satisfaction with back-up support to Sales Representative in their absence or as requested by the manager;
• Audit and enforce distribution, visibility, promotion and pricing activity with relevant banners;
• Assist stores to secure impactful product merchandising and proper stock rotation.
  

Requirements

• 1-2 years’ customer service experience in a Retail Sales environment;
• College or University degree is desirable;
• Ability to communicate in French, both written & verbal
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
