We continue to grow and today are looking for a committed, talented, star to join our team as our Sales Analyst

Position Summary/Objective

The Sales Analyst (“SA”) supports the Sales team with reporting and analytics for total Canada business, as well as key accounts covering Riverside’s branded products, including MadeGood, Good To Go. This role will be focused on the Canadian market.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Live and uphold the Company’s core values.
  • Pull data from multiple sources, and update/create reports for Canadian Leadership team
  • o Consumption Reporting
  • o Shipment Reporting
  • o Internal Reports/External Reports (Retailer, Distributor, Broker, Customer POS, Nielsen)
Reporting Relationships

The SA reports to the Canadian Director of Sales Planning & Strategy

Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3+ years of work experience in field
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and ability to work on several deliverables simultaneous.
  • MS Excel advanced level and ability to create confidently draw conclusions from data.
Skills & Abilities
  • Solid Communication abilities - both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Team player
  • Competency in Microsoft applications
  • Intermediate knowledge of data analytics and BI tools an asset (Tableau or Power BI)
  • Self-starter, highly motivated
  • Open to change, quick learning agility
  • Adept and Agile in working through business analytics.
  • Energy, PASSION, ambition, competitiveness
  • Aid in updating Monthly Reports with data/commentary.
  • Support Category Management in preparing Nielsen data 4x per year leveraging KNIME capabilities
  • Sales supports - Support the sales team in managing relationships with existing, new, and prospective customer accounts and for managing all related data.
  • Using POS data, conducts data analysis and assembles summaries to create insights for salespeople and customers.
  • Using multiple points of data both internal and external, conducts ROI analyses for key promotional activities, making recommendations to the KAMs to start/stop/repeat promotions.
  • Create and maintain tools and resources to support both the Category and Sales teams
  • Bring new tools on board and maintain as required (ie Numerator, Shelfgram)
  • Work as a TEAM player to support the Sales team during the Annual Planning process.
  • Take OWNERSHIP and identify market trends and areas of opportunity to share out with Sales team.
  • Keeps the work atmosphere FUN by keeping it light and welcoming.
  • Other duties and special projects as required.
