Securiguard is looking for highly capable security and investigations professionals for our Loss Prevention Team.

What you would do:

As a member of our Undercover Retail Crime Team, you will be working in teams of 2-4, patrolling select retail stores. As part of your role, you will be apprehending shoplifters, following prolific offenders, and gathering related intelligence on current crime activity.

What you would bring:

• Valid Alberta Security Worker License
• USE of Force Training (Preferred)
• Previous Security Experience - 1year (Required)
• Loss Prevention Experience- 6 months (Required)
• Must be flexible to work in multiple stores/locations.
• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour period.
• Ability to complete incident reports on a daily basis.
• Must be comfortable apprehending and detaining shoplifters when required.
• Ability to handle difficult situations with a calm demeanor.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making ability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to arrest, recover and conduct mobile and static surveillance of persons, groups, vehicles, and addresses.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team as operational needs dictated.
