Residential Services Supervisor

The Residential Supervisor is responsible to work very closely with the Residential Department and Day Services Department to ensure that the program objectives of the Agency, relevant to employment, family support, community options, residential needs of clients, and the policies of the Agency are carried out to achieve a comprehensive range of service supports for persons with disabilities.

Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Promote and maintain the vision, mission and policies of Community Connections Inc. and the people it supports;
• Work collaboratively with Day Services Management and Staff;
• Complete all time and attendance functions;
• Ensure adequate shift coverage for all assigned locations;
• Participate in Leadership meetings;
• Mentor, engage and support employees.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a College diploma in Human Services and/or University degree in the Human Services or related field;
• Previous experience working with individuals with cognitive and/or physical challenges or previous experience in a human service setting serving vulnerable populations would be considered an asset;
• Previous supervisory experience would be considered an asset;
• Strong communication skills;
• Flexible to adjust to last minute changes to work schedule and the ability to accept and embrace change in day-to-day operations;
• Exhibit a high degree of initiative and drive;
• Able to multi-task and work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment;
• Effective critical thinking and decision making skills;
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
• Must provide a clear Criminal Record Check – Vulnerable and a clear Driver’s Abstract.
