Job Title: Real Estate Recruiter

Location: Oakville

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (occasional evenings or weekends if needed during high season).

Compensation: $50,000 - $80,000 plus bonus

Status: Employee

Job Expectations:

The ideal candidate would have an entrepreneurial spirit with a keen eye to detect potentially high producing real estate sales professionals. This Recruiter is on the constant look-out for extremely talented sales people to join a successful and well-established real estate team.

This individual will be highly motivated, with above average interpersonal skills and will be an enthusiastic self-starter with outstanding attraction and recruiting skills. Must be a team player and highly collaborative; someone who can build and nurture relationships while providing support to the Broker/Manager. The right candidate will be a great communicator and relationship builder, very personable with a ready smile and a positive, can-do attitude. Having a background in real estate is considered an asset as you will be recruiting realtors.

Primary Roles include: Agent Attraction Support; Agent Recruiting; Agent Support

Reports to: Broker/Manager and Owner of Brokerage

Position responsibilities include the following duties

  • Responsible for headhunting and recruiting of new salespeople who fit the culture and meet hiring standards of brokerage
  • Responsible for creating/hosting workshops to invite potential candidates to the brokerage and following up on the candidates
  • Meet one-on-one with candidates, attend events like open houses, and take advantage of all other lead sources.
  • Review the candidate’s backgrounds before moving them along in the recruiting process.
  • Work closely with the Broker/Manager and Brokerage Owner to ensure brokerage corporate policies and standards are being met by new salespeople joining the branch
  • Provide guidance to resolve problems and complications that arise during the real estate recruiting process.
  • Respond to inbound queries in a timely fashion and facilitate an overall smooth experience for prospective Realtors in a professional and positive manner.
  • Attend important networking or industry events as needed, representing our office in a professional manner. Working with other Managers and Employees

Qualifications

  • Real estate experience considered an asset.
  • Must have very strong leadership skills, while also being able to listen to and absorb direction, and work on a team.
  • A sound and ethical reputation, preferably within the real estate industry
  • Must be detail-oriented and have superb problem solving/conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational, and time management skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills in person, over the phone and via electronic communication.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, basic social media, the MLS system, and other software systems as needed.
  • Self-confident with an outgoing personality.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • This is a non-selling position
