Your opportunity

We are currently seeking motivated candidates for the position of Quality Management Coordinator. The successful candidate will report to the Manager, Quality and can be based from any Dillon office across Canada . We offer flexible hours and remote working arrangements to help balance the competing demands of work and personal life.

Responsibilities

What your day will look like

Quality Management Coordinator (97%)
  • Support the Manager, Quality in the implementation and ongoing enhancements of Dillon’s Quality Management System, including the Dillon Quality Standard, the Dillon Business Administration Manual, and related resources, all within a management system framework that achieves continuous improvement in quality performance and culture.
  • Aid in establishing and monitoring key performance indicators, identifying key insights and recommended actions to positively influence quality performance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of effective programs, training, tools, initiatives and resources that support quality management skills development and improved quality performance.
  • Support the development and engagement of the extended quality management team that supports Dillon’s Quality Management System across our offices, including Quality Management Representatives, Lead Auditors, internal audit teams, and Office Quality Committees.
  • Analyze project delivery data to identify trends and develop proactive actions to mitigate potential risks to services and clients and improve internal processes.
  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and control of documentation within Dillon’s Quality Management System
  • Draft communications, presentations, agenda and minutes.
  • Conduct document formatting and production, including editing, proofreading, and overall quality review
  • Provide support for the development and implementation of a Business Management System and the related business processes.
  • Assist the Company Security Officer (CSO) with implementing and maintaining the project security compliance program for Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) as well as other public and private sector clients, as needed.
  • Perform audits of the Quality Management System, Business Management System and project security compliance program.
  • Complete other duties as required or assigned by the Manager, Quality.

Qualifications

What you will need to succeed
  • Two to five years post-secondary education in business administration or demonstrated combination of education, skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Two years’ experience in quality management system coordination
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
  • B e able to obtain reliability status security clearance through PSPC.

Experience
  • Excellent organizational, planning and coordination skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive “can do” attitude.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing workload demands.
  • Excellent attention to detail, a high regard for accuracy, and the ability to provide high quality outputs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google applications.
  • Experience in WordPress and Smartsheet is considered an asset.
  • Experience in a Professional Services consulting firm (engineering/environmental/planning) is considered an asset.
