Quality Control Specialist (#2021-24)

Reporting to the Sr. Director Operations and Cannabis, the Quality Control Specialist is responsible for overall quality of the laboratory.

Duties And Responsibilities Include But Not Necessarily Limited To

• Review raw data to ensure calculations, peak integration and data transmission are accurate
• Ensure Analysts are working in compliance with standard operating procedures
• Provide guidance and technical support to Analysts
• Communicating with customers regarding their inquiries and help them resolve any issues
• Approve method validation reports
• Adhere to regulatory guidelines including GMP and ISO17025
• Maintaining a safe, organized and efficient work space
• Other duties as assigned
  

Qualification Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience
• Several years’ experience in a laboratory environment with experience in HPLC, GC, ICP and LC analysis
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to demonstrate patience/adaptable to change
• Ability to work while under pressure and with various distractions
• Organization of tasks to meet deadlines
• Must be able to work cooperatively in a team environment
