The Quality Control Associate will maintain quality standards by verifying incoming raw material.

Responsibilities

• Perform Incoming inspection for all raw materials including Cannabis
• Perform and Document inspection activities to ensure that all documentation is in accordance with GPP/GMP
• Determine sampling size using ANSI chart, appliable material specification and standard operating procedures
• Perform and Document details of sampling activities
• Release raw materials using SAP inventory management system
• Stage controlled printed materials for production
• Stage empty retention bins, verify and confirm completed retention bins
• Complete Daily cleaning
• Serve as the Quality expert in these areas and ensure that all quality requirements are met
• Aid in performing ongoing investigations, and other unique projects
• Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
• Adheres to safety rules and procedures
• Provide timely and accurate information, reports and documentation as required
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in Quality Control
• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma a in science related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in raw material testing and releasing
• Experience of working in a GMP environment
• Previous Quality/laboratory experience, preferably within a GMP environment
• Experience in technical writing
• Excellent time management skills with ability to work under minimal supervision
• Experience with SAP (ERP inventory management system)
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to preform measurements using calipers and rulers
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and Excel
• Strong communication skills
