We are looking for a software quality assurance expert to build and lead a team of QA analysts and automation specialists focusing on regression and release testing. We want someone who is or wants to be a great leader, is highly organized, self-motivated, and is technically proficient in test automation.

Your day to day

• Organize and supervise QA testing of production web applications.
• Establish and manage internal processes to build and execute test suites.
• Hire and oversee your team of QA analyst and QA Automation Specialists.
• Write and execute manual test cases and automated test scripts.
• Fully understand our applications from an end-user’s perspective to enable the design of effective and
• relevant test plans.
• Collaborate with Product team to ensure quality of test cases.
• Collaborate with Development team to implement test automation tools and fix defects
• Report defects and evaluate for severity.
• Protect our users and business through a relentless focus on quality.
• Report on quality assurance metrics to benchmark quality and assess risk.
• Support production release cycle via regression testing.
• Help and support your teammates.
• Prepare technical and user documentation, on occasion.
  

You’ll need

• Degree, diploma in a relevant technical discipline or significant experience in all aspects of Quality Assurance
• Minimum 3 years of QA experience in a senior role
• Extensive experience building test automation pipelines, automation scripts, and manual test cases
• Demonstrable ability to effectively manage projects and/or a team
• Software Development education or experience is an asset
• Experience with Azure or other cloud environments is an asset
• Experience in the automotive industry is a bonus
