A typical day for the Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

  • Lead and participate in the planning and maintenance of manual, automated and regression test suites.
  • Create acceptance criteria, perform defect management, prepare test estimations, strategies, plans and schedules.
  • Enhance testing disciplines such as regression testing, test automation, usability testing, exploratory and cross-browser testing.
  • Identify test cases and test data, create and execute test scripts and record results.
  • Develop IT quality assurance standards, guidelines, practices and principles.
  • Work within an agile environment with a focus on high-quality, peer-reviewed output.
  • Collaborate with IT team during design reviews.
  • Review change requests for completion, and the adherence of quality assurance practices.
  • Champion quality assurance and quality control processes within the organization.

What you bring

  • University degree or diploma, with 8+ years of related technical experience.
  • CSTE/CSQA certification would be considered an asset.
  • Proven track record analyzing, planning, creating and executing test plans, test cases and conducting test case review and defect escape analysis, preferably having prior experience with web applications.
  • Ability to develop and perform manual test execution.
  • Experience conducting internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established quality assurance standards for software testing.
  • The ability to analyze, plan, interpret and provide essential metrics to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Automation experience is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
