RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for the following:

• Review project proposal and execution plan as agreed with client;
• Prepare the proposal per RFP package;
• Prepare status reports, gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information about the project for management and for stakeholders
• Validate customer requirement, manage project scope, timelines, hours and assumptions.
• Finalize the definition of project scope, WBS (work breakdown structure), budget, schedule and objectives;
• Assign and manage project team at each phase and determine project responsibilities and organization chart;
• Interface and coordinate with the client Counterpart;
• Define, with Discipline Engineering Managers, final project man-hours and deliverables;
• Plan and manage project execution activities (engineering, procurement and construction) overall;
• Develop or update (as required) the project execution plan (PEP);
• Establish, with project controls, the project deliverables schedule and overall execution schedule;
• Organize the kick-off meeting (internal & with client) to explain the scope, KPIs and schedule;
• Direct, with the Project Engineer, engineering and design work to meet established budget and schedule;
• Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, schedule changes and recommend actions;
• Review and approve RFQ and IFC packages before final issue;
• Analyze and review technical evaluations of contractor/supplier bids;
• Manage the overall project budget and contingencies.
