We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our growing team in Quebec.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate site meetings; including detailed minute taking.
  • Coordinate project scheduling with the managers and subcontractors.
  • Issue tender documents to subcontractors and award subcontracts.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, action item lists, Project Status Updates & weekly reports.
  • Work with purchasing to track, follow up and ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Complete and submit WSIB Certifications as well as Site Plan, Building Permit and TSSA, applications.
  • Coordinating with vendors client’s consultants and site superintendents.
  • Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company health and safety policy.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
  • Creating and updating project and construction schedules.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Design team.
  • Understand and perform document control functions in accordance with project policy and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Project Coordinator in Construction - Civil, Electrical, Mechanical.
  • Construction and/or Technical experience in chemical process or petrochemical, gas process industries.
  • Experience in large equipment installation.
  • Knowledge in Project Management Processes.
  • Knowledge of H&S Construction site requirements.
  • Knowledge in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Piping or ASME.
  • Ability to understand drawings, schematics and construction documentation including P&ID.
  • Strong Computer skills and ability to use Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and persistent.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
