Duties And Responsibilities

• Cleaning, sweeping and vacuum in the different departments of the plant
• Lubrication of plant equipment
• Handling of containers and bags up to 25 kg
• Operation of a forklift (must have a valid driving license)
• Operation of a bagger valve and daily maintenance
• Operation of bagging a ton bags (tote)
• All other duties required

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Must have a safe work attitude
• Able to work in a team
• Maintain a respectful and positive attitude
• Perform the necessary tasks in a timely manner
• Computer skills and basic math
• Must be proactive and involved in food safety programs
• Learn and follow the rules and work policies.
• Produce appropriate documentation
• Punctuality and attendance at work

Education or Work Experience

• High school education or equivalent is preferred

Health and Safety

• Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
• Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements

Additional Information

• Capable of climbing stairs and use ladders
• Capable of lifting 25 kg bags repeatedly during a day
• Able to sit or stand for long periods
• Able to work at height
• Capable of bending, kneeling and squatting
• Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions, hot and cold temperatures and dusty conditions
• Able to work in shifts 12 hours to work during weekends and work overtime when required by management
