We’re the largest financial institution based on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, and we’ve got an opportunity for you. We are looking for a Premises Administratorto join our Premises team, so if you’re passionate about property management and have experience in maintaining property management information systems, security, alarm systems, Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and administration of Master Property and Insurance renewals, we’d like to hear from you.
What’s the role?
Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Premises, the Premises Administrator provides assistance to the Assistant Manager, Premises in all areas of accountability of the Premises Department. This role requires property management skills to assist with monitoring, reviewing and development of existing properties for compliance with Coast Community’s property management policy. You will contribute to the development of the Premises Department annual operating plan, budget and targets. You will be responsible for the maintenance and presentation of the Premises portal page and for providing Coastal staff with security systems access, password and carding services. You will submit slip and fall claims for both members and the public to Coastal’s insurance provider; submit Master Property Insurance Program Documents to Central One. In addition, you will collect, compile and report on information collected annually for MMBC.
What are we looking for?

  • Completion of the Sauder School of Business Property Management Course (or equivalent program) within 2 years of accepting the position;
  • Successful completion of a high school diploma.

Ideally, you are a flexible, collaborative team player with:

  • Previous premises related experience, preferably in a financial sales and service environment;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook;
  • Familiarity with AUTOCAD programs;
  • General knowledge of building systems, equipment, machinery and furnishings;
  • Strong attention to detail to Administer and maintain repair and maintenance logs;
  • Ability to schedule and coordinate service contractors, suppliers and Coastal’s staff to ensure the proper security and privacy protocols are in place.
