Plumbing Purchaser

Wm Schmidt Mechanical is looking to add to our team. We are hiring a plumbing purchasing agent. This new team member will need to be self motivated, hard-working, and be detail oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Purchasing of products directly or indirectly related to the plumbing department.
• Item returns.
• Reconciling purchase orders, confirmations, and shipping receipts.
• Cost of goods/cost control.

Requirements:

• At least [1] year experience in purchasing.
• Knowledge in plumbing preferred.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong competence with computer applications.
• Effectively coordinate and communicate with others.
• Arrange for deliveries and prepare necessary freight documents.
• Maintain and reinforce vendor relations.
