WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Analyze and assess key distribution trends that contribute to the profitability and sustainability of the Company’s financial performance
- Assess new business trends by segmenting the attributes of new and renewal business, giving specific attention to the Company’s risk appetite
- Support Corporate Underwriting and Underwriting Operations with necessary reporting
- Analyze and assess developing trends in insurance product offerings – Usage Based Insurance
- Identify and validate data-based decision-making algorithms for routine underwriting decisions
- Analyze decision-making processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and optimization
WHAT YOU’VE DONE
- You have a degree or diploma in a quantitative subject (e.g. mathematics, computer science, actuarial science, economics, statistics, etc.)
- You have at least one year of related experience in the property & casualty insurance industry
- You have a basic understanding of statistical analysis methods
- You are competent with MS Office and SQL
- You have strong problem solving and organization skills
- You have applied experience in business analysis and data modelling
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to both a technical and non-technical audience
