WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Analyze and assess key distribution trends that contribute to the profitability and sustainability of the Company’s financial performance
  • Assess new business trends by segmenting the attributes of new and renewal business, giving specific attention to the Company’s risk appetite
  • Support Corporate Underwriting and Underwriting Operations with necessary reporting
  • Analyze and assess developing trends in insurance product offerings – Usage Based Insurance
  • Identify and validate data-based decision-making algorithms for routine underwriting decisions
  • Analyze decision-making processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and optimization

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

  • You have a degree or diploma in a quantitative subject (e.g. mathematics, computer science, actuarial science, economics, statistics, etc.)
  • You have at least one year of related experience in the property & casualty insurance industry
  • You have a basic understanding of statistical analysis methods
  • You are competent with MS Office and SQL
  • You have strong problem solving and organization skills
  • You have applied experience in business analysis and data modelling
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to both a technical and non-technical audience
