Mechanical Technicians at a Glance

This team is one of our three primary teams responsible for maintaining Canada’s CF-18 fleet. These technicians are specialized in the mechanical systems of CF-18 Fighter Aircraft who maintain and extend the useful life of the CF-18 while enabling national defence to fulfill its role at home and abroad.

On addition, Mechanical Technicians can be selected to take on quality control and certification responsibilities, or an opportunity to learn new function such as ejection systems, become a member of an emergency or damaged aircraft recovery team wherever the Canadian Armed Forces are called upon to operate and more.

Expertise We Look For

Our Mechanical Technicians perform all the different maintenance tasks on an aircraft.

We are looking for people who are passionate about aeronautics, have a high level of professionalism, and work best in teams.

  • One to five years of experience as a mechanical technician on other aircraft platforms;
  • Aircraft Maintenance Technician Diploma;
  • Communication skills that will allow you to interact with several other specialists within the production environment.
