Our Opportunity

Get started early this construction season! Allnorth is having a banner year and in addition to retaining our staff across the winter months, we are ramping up early for a number of projects throughout BC.

The successful candidate will conduct a wide variety of laboratory and field testing on aggregate, soils, concrete and grout, compaction and site conditions monitoring. This role executes field testing activities and works primarily within a small crew to provide quality control/ quality assurance. you will collect, prepare and review field notes and related data for presentation to clients and supervisors.

This is a position requiring a working knowledge of construction materials testing and may act as a team lead or trainer.

Requirements

• 2+ years materials testing experience is desired
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Techology / Degree in Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication skills and anaytical abilities
• Technical competence and attention to detail
• Ability to work a variety of shifts is required and willingness to work in remote sites for extended periods of time
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position
• Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a criminal background check, pre-employment medical & drug testing, and education verification
