In your role, you will:
  • Be responsible for change management activities until delivery of the first article and for ensuring the respect of the product development schedule with the suppliers of the Outside Production commodity.
  • Maintain relationships with the suppliers in order to ensure customer satisfaction, while optimizing the quality, time cycle and costs for the organization.
  • Be to manage suppliers’ activities to meet the delivery goals of pieces on time and at the lower cost.
  • Participate in the cost reduction initiatives according to the established objectives.
  • Identify and participate in the improvement projects (Kaizen/Workshop, Deepdive) and also maintain and develop commercial relationship with the supplier base.
  • Work closely with Logistics Planner to support the production.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,
  • You have bachelor’s degree in Administration or Operations management with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience.
  • You possess a working experience in Outside Production (OP) an asset.
  • You have experience with SAP
  • You possess a strong sense of ethics and are customer focused.
  • You have a good analytical, planning, problem solving and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • You are bilingual (French and English spoken and written).
