The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director of Provider Solutions, the Provider Solutions Manager will be responsible for identifying, establishing and growing partnership opportunities among health care professionals in the Hepatology and Gastroenterology therapeutic areas. The successful candidate will have a unique combination of sales leadership, business acumen, and an understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and environment related to specialty pharmacy and health solution delivery in Canada. This role requires travel of up to 60-75%.

A Day in the Life (What you will do here):

  • Be the face of Sentrex and champion our vision with hepatologists, gastroenterologists and other targeted HCPs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Sentrex partners, with a patient-centric approach including ongoing management of partnership success and growth
  • Identify and establish new clinic partnership opportunities within selected geographies
  • Develop and execute plans to increase Sentrex brand awareness among established and new partners
  • Work closely with cross-functional internal teams to ensure that programs and partnerships are delivered optimally, evolve as needed, and advance the goals of partners
  • Support the Director of Provider Solutions in the development of Sentrex’s long-term Hepatology/GI strategy
  • Represent Sentrex at local/national conferences and cultivate new relationships with HCPs, manufacturers, and other industry stakeholders
  • Remain up-to-date on market trends and advancements within assigned therapeutic areas
  • Exhibit the Sentrex core values with consistency and adhere to company policies and ethical standards
  • Additional duties as assigned

What you need to ensure you are set up for success:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in life sciences, business administration, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or strategic partnerships
  • Experience in gastroenterology and/or hepatology
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or specialty pharmacy industry preferred
  • Ability to develop and foster lasting customer relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze and use data to assess performance and inform decision making
  • Organized and thorough manager who can coordinate numerous tasks and operational activities
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated track record of new concept development for various projects
  • You have exceptional organizational skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, management, and stakeholders
  • Critical thinking skills, creative and innovative solutions to internal or external client needs
  • Valid Driver’s License
