***The primary function of a Mall Security Officer is to provide the highest level of security and customer service possible*. Their most important goal is to keep the property, its tenants, visitors, and employees safe and free from harm.**

Requirement: Applicant must currently live in Vancouver Island or must be willing to relocate.*

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• A valid BC Security Worker’s License is required; or willing to take the BST course
• Must Have valid OFA certification or willing to obtain

• Previous Retail Security is preferred
• Observe, record, and report activities and security incidents while on shift;
• Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
• A calm demeanor and sound decision-making skills;
• Able to do foot patrol and stand for long periods of time
• Able to complete high-quality reports
• Top-notch customer service, with previous experience, considered a strong asset
• Professional approach to role; acting in a disciplined, honest and ethical manner
• Comfortable working alone or with a diverse team
• Must be able to follow procedure and set routines effectively
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Flexible availability Morning ,afternoon and evenings Must be available weekends )

• Must be physically fit with the ability to stand and walk patrols, climb stairs, etc
