Position: Maintenance Millwright Reports to:Maintenance Manager

We are looking for a Millwrightto join our Maintenance team! Our Millwright will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment on the production line!

available shifts:

• Afternoon Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM
• Night Shift: 11:00PM - 7:30AM
  
  

We offer a night shift premium for hours worked between 11:00PM - 7:30AM.

Skills & Experience

• You have 3-5 years of relevant experience
• You have strong computer skills including MS Office Suite
• You have excellent mathematical and mechanical skills
• You have great interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  
  

Nice-to-Have

• Red Seal Millwright certification
• Experience and/or education in lean manufacturing; Six Sigma
  
  

Detailed Description of duties:

• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, jacks, and tractors, to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up, and repair of machinery
• Install, align, take apart and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces, and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls
• Operate machine tools, such as lathes and grinders, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery
• Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation by using hand and power tools and welding equipment
