Machine Operator - Batch Blender/Mixer

Our client is a food manufacturer, specializing in tasty products for the industrial, foodservice, and retail markets.

We are looking for experienced Batch Blenders/Mixers. FULL-TIME, long-term positions!

Pay:To$21.00/hr(based on exp.)+ Shift Premiums.

3 Shifts Available:Day: 7:00am - 3:30pm ; Afternoon: 3:30pm - 12:00am; Night: 11:00pm - 7:30am

The Batch Blender ensures all blend production processes and activities are set up to run accurately and safely.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate mixers, boilers and pumps including plate/tube/kettle
• Operate metering equipment for dispensing liquid and solid ingredients
• Check production schedule daily and meet requirements
• Accurately measure and weigh ingredients according to the batch instructions
• Maintain records of all mixed batches
• Sampling for QC to meet company standards
• Follow all GMP’s, HACCP and SQP protocols
• Maintain clean, organized work area
  

Requirements

• MUST have 2-4 years exp. in blend or batch making in the food/beverage industry
• Good communication skills and English
• Strong mathematical and troubleshooting skills; attention to detail
• Knowledge of GMP’s, HACCP and SQP principles is asset
• Able to multi-task, handle priorities and meet deadlines
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible to work dayshift and afternoon shift when required
