Landscape Construction Lead Hand.

Location:

Hannon, ON.

Pay

$22-26 per hour (Benefits after 3 months).

Landscape Construction Lead Head related to the landscape construction industry. This position will involve assisting in the daily management of construction projects for Oakridge Landscape Contractors. This position also includes the use of numerous types of related equipment.

Key Duties Include

• Assist foreperson with the management of a crew of 3-6 people.
• Drive company truck and trailer.
• Read blueprints.
• Installation of natural stone (flag, armor, etc).
• Installation of interlock paving stone.
• Installation of precast pavers and retaining walls.
• Ability to dig holes (when needed), place soils, plant trees, and shrubs, etc.
• Trim shrubs and evergreens.
• Candidates must have keen attention to detail.
  

Job Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License “G” is required.
• Clean Driver’s Abstract.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of field experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices.
• Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work long hours and the occasional Saturday.
