Labour Lead - Calgary North

Seymour Pacific Developments Ltd. is a national leader in land development and residential construction, and we are seeking a Labour Lead at our multifamily site. This position is responsible for leading, delegating and completing labour tasks as directed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delegating labourers to specific tasks
• Taking the lead on specific labourer related tasks to ensure an efficient workflow
• Load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials
• Move tools, equipment, and construction materials to and from work areas
• Operate hand and power tools
• Clean up rubble and debris on a regular basis to ensure a safe and well maintained construction site
• Move and level earth using shovels and rakes
• Clean, lubricate, and refill tanks as instructed
• Practice work place safety at all time
• Perform other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated ability to lead labourers, as well as follow direction as required
• Previous experience in a related position
• Positive can-do attitude
• Willing and able to easily follow direction
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Willing and able to work long hours in a fast-pace, physical environment
