In this role, you will:
- Report directly to the Joint Test Group Chairman as directed and contribute to the successful delivery of system test and commissioning.
- Coordinate and support management of verification requirements documentation and procedures.
- Ensure technical verification deliverables are completed and transmitted along with supporting documentation for project close-out
- Monitor and control of IT applications to track metrics for progress reporting
- Develop and collaboratively implement verification process improvements and document revisions to existing processes where appropriate
- Manage multiple tasks while working independently in a team environment
- Other duties as necessary
- Strong technical skills including post-secondary education or apprenticeship in an engineering discipline
- Eligible for recognition as an EIT in British Columbia
- Experience with the review of testing requirement documents
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal
- Strong computer skills; including MS Office suite
- Experience with tasks requiring attention to detail
- You have knowledge of Victoria Class Submarines (asset)
- Proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, meaning that you must have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the Government of Canada with the final dose at least 14 days prior to your start date
- You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
