Englobe is looking for top talent to join our Team of Professionals in our fast-paced rewarding environment. We are growing again and currently have the need for an Jr. Civil Municipal-Geotechnical Engineering Technologist/ Engineer in Training to work out of ourSaint John, New Brunswick office.

Your Contribution:
  • Concept design, and detailed design of municipal infrastructure using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Materials testing including but not limited to concrete, asphalt, and soils
  • Prepare formal professional service proposals;
  • Construction site observation for water and sewer pipes, road construction, etc.
  • Understand and summarize defined project scope and address required changes;
  • Prepare contract documents and construction drawings;
  • Survey with Total Station and GPS;
  • Support Project Engineer/Manager on daily tasks like: preparing proposals, change orders and reports;
  • Exploration program monitoring including boreholes and test pits
  • Provide clear and concise reporting to supervisors;
  • Execute projects in accordance with company guidelines and standards;
  • Provide feedback and innovative ideas;
  • Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules
Your Profile:
  • Degree in Civil engineering from an accredited university; or degree from Civil Engineering Technology diploma of an accredited college
  • A combination of education and work experience will be considered;
  • Experience in Autocad Civil 3D
  • Experience with soils and concrete testing is considered an asset;
  • Experience with Site Inspection and Survey is considered an asset;
  • Experience in design on Municipal Infrastructure is considered an asset;
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision or remotely;
  • Good writing skills and verbal communication;
  • High level of integrity and work ethic;
  • Attention to detail while multi-tasking;
  • An understanding of product results;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Strong organizational skills that will allow you to work on numerous projects concurrently, and update reoccurring tasks;
  • Ability to meet deadlines;
  • Due to client visits a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle is required; and
  • Be motivated by your success and assist in motivating others.
