The Junior Billing Analyst reports directly to the Controller.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review leasing contracts and apply contract terms and conditions properly to billing.
  • Ensure all invoices are billed and processed in a timely manner in accordance with contract terms.
  • Communicate with other divisions to ensure accuracy of billings throughout the lease term.
  • Act as a point of contact between customers and the sales team for customer inquiries.
  • Prepare invoices and adjustments and ensure they are approved in a timely manner.
  • Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and other accounting tasks related to billing.
  • Weekly scanning and filing.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and problem solve in a demanding environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, administrative and organizational skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset and strong ability to work with large amounts of data.
  • Superior knowledge of all related computer applications.
  • Able to remain organized and on task; self-starter.
  • Demonstrate ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization of all levels.


Experience

  • Certificate or diploma in accounting preferred.
  • 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
  • Microsoft NAV experience considered an asset.
