Come join our growing team! Our Mining Division is looking to bring on an Inventory Data Analyst. They will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels and ensuring that inventory KPI’s can be achieved through the monitoring of inventory ordering and supply. The Inventory Systems Analyst will be responsible for communicating inventory concerns to the Parts Planner and providing prompt follow up to regions and other stakeholders should KPI’s and or delivery times not be able to be met.

Responsibilities
  • Transferring inventory to warehouses and working with the customer support group to create strategies to remove non-moving – non allocated stock
  • Analyze large sets of data and present data to management
  • Work collaboratively with department to develop and implement effective seed stock strategy
  • Drive inventory digitalization projects at LCA-Mining
  • Drive the continuous improvement program for inventory management
  • Utilize the LEC MRP program to optimize & plan inventory and future orders (6-12 months)
  • Initiate recommendations for improvement of the organization’s policies and processes
  • Alerting the organization of potential or known problems that affect the quality of LCA Mining products and services
  • Participate in budgeting and planning as it relates to inventory value
  • Determining customer needs and establishing service solutions and forecasts
  • Set, monitor and review inventory levels, stock turns and movements
  • Other duties as directed

Competencies
  • 1-3 years experience in inventory management/logistics environment
  • Degree or diploma in supply chain/ logistics/inventory management
  • Software experience and programming in MS SQL and Excel
  • Sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical, ability to digest large sets of data, and problem solving skills
  • Self motivated and results oriented
