What You’ll Be Doing

Assisting on customer orders throughout the order delivery cycle and supporting all aspects of Supply Chain activities that are involved in the Order to Delivery process, including but not limited to inventory allocations (supply to current demand), transportation and warehouse processes.

Preparation of a variety of documentation pertinent to international requirements, including invoicing, reporting and preparation required for year-end audit processes (internal and external).

Working closely with regional sales team, logistics and other departments within McCain to avoid and resolve service related issues and provide the best service possible for our customers (communicating customer requirements; mitigating shortages/service failures; expediting orders; analysis or account activities as required).

Working in a fast paced and high volume environment by being responsive to emails and phone calls on a diverse set of topics thereby making a positive impact by improving the overall experience with McCain.

Providing Customer Order Expertise with regard to all aspects of customer profile, including Master Data criteria and current customer conditions. This includes order tracking - utilize carrier/freight forwarder websites, and/or SAP for order tracing and tracking purposes to provide customers current information about the status of their order.

Measuring and monitoring service levels and continuously improving the processes and matrices to help take the department to next level.

Who are we looking for?
  • Have 2-3 year experience in a service oriented role in logistics, exports, and/or imports. This can even include Co-op or internship experience.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills with excellent attention to accuracy and detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others to explore new solutions for stakeholders
  • Take ownership of their ongoing personal growth and learning
  • Some work experience with SAP and/or Order to Cash systems and curiosity to continually learn to fill gaps in your knowledge
  • French/Spanish language skills would be considered an asset
