Your Challenge:

We are currently seeking an experienced Intermediate Architectural Technologist to join our local team in Halifax, NS.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Candidate must be fluent in BIM 360, Revit and Microsoft Office applications as well as have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural design with exceptional skills in the production and coordination of contract documents.
  • Candidates must also have a thorough knowledge of building systems and detailing, with the ability to work independently, developing and coordinating contract documents and document checking.
  • Work in a collaborative environment with the Project Manager, Architect, and other Technical and Design Staff
  • Complete technical drawings in Revit
  • Additional duties as determined based on the knowledge and experience of the applicant

The Skills & Knowledge You Bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience working as an Architectural Technologist
  • Proficient in Revit producing technical documents and construction drawings
  • Understanding of current building systems, materials, and all codes in practice
  • Knowledge and understanding of architectural standards, building sciences, construction technologies and practices
  • Able to work with a team to produce working drawings and 3D models of architectural designs for innovative multi-disciplinary projects - specifically Healthcare or Educational
  • Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Dedicated to meeting project deadlines and working efficiently
  • Possess exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize independently
  • Able to manage a number of tasks on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to provide and receive feedback positively
  • For the protection of our staff and to meet the needs of our clients, our group has introduced a mandatory vaccine policy. Candidates will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment.
