Our client, an innovative leader and established company, is looking for an Industrial Electrician (Licensed)in Mississauga. This excellent opportunity is a contract position.

Shift:Dayshift

Pay: Up to $34.00/hr($26.00 to $34.00based on experience and qualifications)

Contract Length: 4 to 5 months

Industrial Electrician (Licensed) Responsibilities/Requirements

• Check & compare physical parts/numbers to Bill of Material to ensure correct parts are issued for installation
• Experience to read, interpret electrical drawings/schematics inline with building electrical control panels & machine wirings
• Knowledge to layout & wire different components within & between electrical cabinets & machinery
• Install electrical components, such as transformers, reactors, disconnects, frequency drives, PLCs, HMIs, etc. in electrical cabinets or on machinery
• Select, bend and install conduit (flexible, liquidtight, EMT, Rigid), clips, trays, etc., as required
• Wire components in cabinets or on machines according to schematics and the Canadian Electrical Code
• Report directly to the Electrical Production Supervisor
• Own basic tools (tester, screwdrivers, pliers, wire stripper, metal files, etc.) to be used for building electrical control panels
• Troubleshoot systems
• Maintain and repair building electrical systems as required
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Perform other tasks that assigned
• Work in accordance with Health and Safety policies
  

Minimum Experience Requirement

• 2 years experience
