Position Highlights

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly-driven HRIS Analyst for a permanent position at our Corporate Head Office in beautiful North Vancouver. This position would contribute to the development, sustainment, and support of Human Resources systems and activities within HR programs, business planning and operational requirements.

This position serves as a technical point of contact for assigned HR functional areas, and:

  • Provides sustainment support for established HR programs, such as payroll, time, HR administration, compensation, pension & benefits, performance management, e-recruitment, health & safety, and employee self-service
  • Provides technical system support and advice, troubleshooting, and supports incident management, access administration, release implementation, and system upgrades
  • Works closely with HR business stakeholders to understand business processes, needs, problems and priorities
  • Performs business analysis to elicit and document requirements and HR processes, and identify gaps, risks and dependencies
  • Plans and conducts testing (user acceptance, regression, production validation) and defect resolution in collaboration with HR and IT partners
  • Identifies opportunities for business process improvements and efficiencies

Position Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a combination of HR education and several years’ experience with HRIS administration and analysis (SAP or equivalent large system or combination of systems), and demonstrated ability to:

  • Work as a team player
  • Be customer-focused, positive and professional
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal HR and IT partners
  • Communicate effectively, adapting style to clearly convey concepts in either business or technical language
  • Quickly learn technical concepts, think critically and analytically, assess risk, prioritize, and problem solve
  • Work creatively, proactively, and collaboratively in the face of ambiguity and change
