Nurturing Yukon learners through community wisdom.

Empower and inspire learners, families and communities to lead necessary change in education and society through Yukon First Nations ways.

Hiring preference will be provided to those who identify as Yukon First Nation or Indigenous.

Based in Whitehorse, Yukon, on the traditional territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council, the First Nation School Board (FNSB) was established in February 2022. Board run schools are for all Yukon students and aim to promote reconciliation by enhancing a Yukon First Nations model that puts the students first, through a strengths-based, community-centered approach. Our work reflects Yukon First Nations values.

The High School Team Lead plays a pivotal role in driving high school educational programs, innovation, and alignment with the Strategic Plan for the FNSB. Through a team of high school coaches and curriculum developers, this position provides direct support to our schools, communities and learners. This position is dedicated to fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports all learners, grounded in Yukon First Nation Ways, that are tailored to each unique community.
