Are you interested in servicing a diverse range of equipment including Bobcat, Linde, Doosan, Clark, and Vermeer? From skid steers to excavators and more, our service teams handle it all. We are looking for a Service Technician to join our Westerra Equipment, the Abbotsford team. Reporting to the Service Manager a successful candidate is customer-focused and a team player who can also work independently. No matter which industry you have experience in, whether that is automotive or any similar industry, we hone your transferable skills and teach you all about the ever-changing world of equipment!

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosis and repair of Doosan Heavy Equipment, Bobcat excavators/loaders, Vermeer Heavy and Tree Equipment
• Perform routine scheduled and planned maintenance services and safety inspections
• Complete repair reports, time cards, and other documentation
• Shop work as required
• Communicate repair requirements with customers
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Whenever possible capture new business and new customers

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Red Seal Certified Heavy Duty Technician
• Repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment as outlined above
• Excellent diagnostic skills
• Self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision
• Superb customer service skills
• Team Oriented
• Experience in Electrical systems and Electronic Controls
• Experience in Diesel engine service, repair, and overhaul
• Thorough knowledge and experience troubleshooting and repairing of Hydraulic Componentry and Systems, Hydrostatic Drives, Automatic Power Shift and Standard Transmissions and Driveline componentry
• Welding experience
