Position Description

• Lead the delivery of financial results for AQUA, ensuring accuracy of reporting on all P&L line items
• Monitor the accuracy of financial results, proactively identifying any discrepancies and driving for corrections of any anomalies.
• Drive control & compliance on pricing governance and accounting treatments
• Deliver by influencing, supporting and collaborating with key stakeholders at various levels of the organization
• Support CFO Canada/Aqua in preparation of financial planning/forecasting of Elanco’s Aqua Business across different regions (EMEA, Chile and North America)
• Support the development and sustainability of Aqua business and strategic plans, supply chain and customer service operations as well as forecasting, pricing and reporting capabilities, including S&OP process
• This role also provides supports to the CFO with adhoc analysis for Canada+Aqua Area
  

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and drive financial results delivery on all P&L line items
• Closely working with Aqua commercial leaders, track sales outlook. Consolidate routine reports for management reviews and discussion
• Help to identify risks and opportunities for business, and highlight to Director – Global Aqua and CFO Canada/Aqua. R&Os could be related to sales, pricing, trade-offs, product rationalization, etc.
• Monitor Affiliate COPS and OPEX. Forecast spending, and analyze gaps between actuals vs. forecast. Propose action plans for enhancement or raise concerns/risks for consideration
• Support financial closings. Monthly financial results consolidation across countries and analysis. Work with IBU Finance to make corrections if any (often there’re errors for Aqua).
• Support CFO Canada/Aqua to prepare the monthly review deck for AQLT, MBR and AFR reviews for Aqua
• Drive the Aqua BP and forecasting process, support the development and sustainability of Aqua business and strategic plans
• Liaise with Supply Chain and manufacturing plants, to ensure the predictability of supply/sales. Escalate issues/concerns in a timely manner
• Pricing related. Modeling and proposals for approval (campaigns); Run monthly Pricing Committee (covering AR related topics, credit)
• Customer meetings/visits together with commercial team, mainly for Chile customers. Prepare for information/presentation to customers
• Collaborate with IAC and International FP&A team on all reporting requirements for Canada + Aqua and ensure timely and accurate submissions
• Drive pricing governance and best practice within Aqua
• Proactively engage and collaborate with Commercial Leaders to obtain all necessary information required to meet regular reporting requirements, Ad hoc reporting and analysis
• Support the BAH and Stallion integrations as well as any other adhoc projects
  

Education/Experience

Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Management or Supply Chain
• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Marketing, or equivalent work experiences.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of functional & leadership experience

• Strong analytical and financial/sales modeling skills linked with conceptual thinking
• Strong Communication skills: verbal, written and interpersonal
• SAP proficient
• Personal accountability and strong drive for execution
• Ability to set priorities
  

Additional Preferences

• CMA designation or equivalent
  

Other Information

• International travel required (20-30% )
