The EY Canada Executive Coach will be a part of EY Canada’s Coaching network, which sits within the Workforce Advisory practice, and will provide executive coaching to EY’s clients. This coach will have extensive and proven experience providing executive coaching to the most senior-level leaders with a focus on leadership growth and leadership transitions. Coaches within the EY Canada Coaching network will represent the EY brand and deliver coaching services to clients across Canada.

Your key responsibilities

  • Serves as a trusted executive coach to C-level executives across EY clients
  • Provides individual coaching in areas that may include: promotions to the executive level, executive onboarding coaching, vertical leadership development, inclusive leadership, leading through change, soft skills development
  • Build relationships with leaders and key stakeholders
  • Provide thought leadership in the development of coaching approaches and initiatives to accelerate the brand of coaching at EY and be at the forefront of building transformative leaders
  • Maintain an external presence and promotes EY’s reputation as a leader in coaching culture
  • Contributes as required to measure the impact of coaching and suggests improvements to coaching processes and programs

  • Adept at communicating coaching themes; collaborates on best practices and seeks to understand and deliver on stakeholder needs
  • Can successfully understand and navigate highly matrixed organizations
  • Receives general direction rather than supervision
  • Works well in teaming and collaborative environments
  • Mastery in the following key skills: Coaching, consulting, facilitation, supporting and leading change, strategic and conceptual thinking, influencing, project management, organizational/business dynamics, operational effectiveness, communication, teaming and collaboration


To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Must have International Coach Federation (ICF) credential: ACC, PCC, or MCC
  • Top-notch coach, based on independent assessment
  • Unique point of view – background tools, accreditation, fast-ball, etc.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years related work experience in a professional services or corporate environment (either as a leader or coach); strong business context and business acumen is needed for success
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience working as a leader across multiple industry sectors
  • Certification with the Leadership Circle Profile and Immunity to Change is preferred
  • Advanced degree or equivalent work experience
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred
